Hi ! I'm Gisela, thank you for taking the time to read about us, and about me.
I hope that through my story, my journey, I am able to reach our youth, single
adults, and anyone that needs hope.
I am vp/secretary of a foundation that helps the poor and children. You can read
about what we do in "about" above. I was born with a condition called Cerebral
Palsy. Even though I am currently in a wheelchair for more than ten years,
stayed in many hospitals and having 21 surgeries, mostly from my waist down.
I could tell you, this has not stop me from what The Lord has done in me. My life
has not been easy by no means I have experienced loneliness, despair, abandonment,
and was molested. I know what it is to live with pain, Inside and out. I have
also known what it is to put a smiley face so people around you don't see your
pain. But having an encounter with my Knight in shining armor changed my life.
I Love children because I know what it is to see pain and feel it. Looking into
a child's eye is like seeing Jesus Himself. They are the hope of our future.
People always ask me, how can you have such a bright
smile? And I take advantage to share with them who is responsible for
that smile!
It's taken me years to understand that I should share my life and I finally got
it. I thank Him each day for giving me life. He is so real and close to me. I
thank Jorge and a couple of other angels here on earth that have prayed to push
me and believing in me. I thought for many years that God couldn't use me. I thought
for many years that I was not worth much. I spent years not asking God for much,
thinking I wasn't worth it. But, today, being part of this honorable organization,
and with support from Jorge, we are available to speak. To share with you my story.
I know it will transform hearts and bring a fresh, new perspective to many. I
took my step, my LEAP of faith to do this, I guess I'll wait for your call
now. ! :) I
