............................................................................................................................... Our
land/project site is only 10 minutes from the Haitian
border. We
hope you would take just 20
seconds to read
and view the few pictures on this page, before
you go to the next page. It's one of our favorite stories. It has a happy ending.
This family of 5 of her children. They
have no electricity. No cable, no cell phone or phone for that matter. no kitchen,
no stove, and had no clothing when we first found them in August 2005.
All
that changed, when we returned in Nov. 2005. Taking clothing and taking a young
volunteer with Nazirite Children's Missions - Stephanie Garces. Who also has
the call of a missionary. (picture on the left)
No
kitchen, no stove, no
electricity, 1) We clothed them, thank you
sponsors!

No
running water, No bathroom, No
toilet, no sink 2)
There home for over 10 years! Made of cardboard & branches. Mud floors
& no electricity. Yes in 2007, people live
in these conditions. The US lifestyle is just not a reality in the outside
world. We are very fortunate.

no
microwave, no tv, no computer, no internet, no soap, no toilet paper,
no clothes, shoes, closets, dirt floors, no mattress

3)
Giving her Nazirite Children's Missions letterheads for
her children to color there hands in, for our sponsors.. (behind us is there
version of a "kitchen")

Yes,
we are a hands on foundation, no desk, or fancy office,
our office is the missions field, Jorge, our director getting wood from a
local lumber yard to build this family mentioned above, with a home! The
home taking its shape

We
will be here again in April 2007 to paint it for
them! Personally. Want to come?

about how we can make a change here They
can tell we are from another country. They ask me for help. In this case, the
mom (pictured) asked for funds to fix her leaky roof. We
aren't in the position to help everyone that ask, fund raising isn't always sucessful..:(

We
did however bring them clothing. There is no electricity in this part of the country.
It's a wonderful place to visit, it's a hike, very hard to get here, only by mule,
horse, or large truck. Walking of course.

Me,
a family in "La Tinaja" and Dr. Daisy.
Although
this has a happy ending, there situation has not ended they are still poor,
and still have empty stomachs at the end of the day. Here's another family
we met in our November 2006 trip. There are 450 children in this town we work
in - Juan Santiago, Dominican Republic Provincia,
Elias Pina

We
thank Alla for sponsoring these children on May 2007. For the first time They
will see a doctor, in hopes of seeing or at least having glasses!! Their appointment
is in Aug. 07' Thank you Alla!
