DONATION OF SUV OR MINI VAN.
Below are just 3 reasons of many other similiar reasons, why we need an suv, or Ford sport trac, or corolla, or yaris, or mini van. (also a small 8 feet long tracktor to cultivate food)

Story #1
This child was burned while starting the camp fire. 90% of the families in this town we live in have no stove. There is no ambulance or 911. The people called us to take him to the clinic - 30minutes away, well, as you see below, we had no choice, we are only 1 of 5 that have a vehicle..

The clinic could not help a burned child, so we had to travel to San Juan an hour and a half drive.

Story #2

//January 2009 - "When I first visited this small town in Dominican Republic, August 05', I ran into this family of 10 living in this shack." Founder

3 of the smallest children pictured below. They lived in a shack measuring 10x7. Mud floors, the roof was made from palm tree branches. - pic above.

In 2006 together with 3 generous couples, we build and donated a new home for them;

Its our desire to take more children to Santo Domingo a 4 1/2 hr drive on some rough roads. But, we have a 2000 Ford Ranger single cab with 189,000 miles. Where only 2 of us fit. We are praying for a small, SUV or mini van, to make these trips possible on a monthly basis. Gasoline here is about $7.00 a gallon. Due to laws in the , it must be 2006 or newer. The Government does not accept older then 2007. In 2008 we brought those children to Santo Domingo for a check up. We have many doctors that are willing to help us help children for free.

March 2010, Domingo (pictured above in red, and picture below with founder) and I drove to Santo Domingo. We both needed to pull out a tooth! There are many other children that need this type of personal care. And the only way is taking them to the Capital - Santo Domingo.

2011 we brought Bibilo. a 60 year old man that has been blind for 5 years now. Him and his wife Francia are very poor. Living in an old shack made of tin roof. Measuring 15x7 approx. Francia has to hike a mountain to plant, cultivate food. While bibilo stays home all day long. We brought him to the Captial - Santo Domingo a 4 hour drive to an eye doctor. To see if an operation could be done. No hope. Do you know of a Dr. in the US that can help? That can evaluate him? (Below pictures of his wife and home)

With a Mini Van or SUV or even a 4 door car, we can take more then 1 person or child at a time to the Capital - Santo Domingo. Thus saving on gas which is $7.00 a gallon. We know you can help, understand, we are here living for 4 years now in the drenches. We can't come up with everything. Thus, that's where a body comes together to help.

Because of the laws of Aduanas Dominican Republic, no cars older then 5 years are allowed in this country. So as of 2012 it must be a 2007 or newer.
