As always we did have sad, depressing moments, we have visited a couple of places here in the capital, where deformed, disabled children live. Here is one of them.

We prayed for 2 mom's.

We took a local couple to visit these children, one of our task is to also bring awareness
to the Dominican people. Can you believe that some people here have asked us, if these are
pictures from Africa. One happy moment, these couple donated the bed for the child you see in the next picture. A child, without a bed in 2008, how can this be possible!?

We had to install a gas system in our truck. It consumes to much gasoline, we save approx. 70%
with the gas system. Now, after 3 months being here, we are able to use the truck more, for donations, and heading out to the places we serve. Which 99% of the time its roads are dirt and rocks and mud.

Last week we took her to a doctor that is willing to operate her eye. Thank God!
One thing about this culture is they are very very giving and available. We have a couple
of doctors available for the children we serve.

A catholic church donated this much cereal for our town of Juan Santiago.

How children need to work to eat. here's one of them cleaning the windshield. They get about
10 cents!
